A 20-year partnership powering the P3
Martin Professional first partnered with Carallon in 2007 when they needed to develop a reliable, innovative, and flexible solution to control their growing range of video panels. What began as a single development project grew into a long-term collaboration. Together, the two companies created and have continuously evolved the P3 System Controller.
The Challenge
In 2007, Martin Professional (then Harman) sought a partner who could develop a robust, flexible control solution capable of synchronising video and lighting fixtures with precision. The system needed to:
- Control LED video panels, creative LED fixtures and pixel-based lighting systems
- Keep pace with rapid industry and product evolution
- Integrate seamlessly with Martin’s fixture catalogue
Rather than a one-off supplier, they required a technical partner with deep understanding of the entertainment industry and one who could evolve with their needs.
