Challenge

ETC were looking for a partner to help them advance their architectural and entertainment lighting control solutions to meet the growing complexity of large-scale venues such as theme parks, churches, and convention centres.

We have been partnering with them for almost twenty years, primarily on their flagship Paradigm architectural control system. In addition, we have consulted with them for smaller projects such as the SmartFade controller.

Carallon delivered full-spectrum development services across multiple areas of expertise:

  • Domain research and solution design

  • Embedded software including CPU/OS selection, BSPs and secure boot support
  • Application software covering UI design, domain-specific control logic and custom protocol development
  • Real-time networking including performance and bandwidth optimisation
